おはようございます！昨夜はうっかりうたた寝してしまい、更新が今朝になってしまいました。。。

今日はアメリカでのMarriage & Family Therapist (MFT)について、少しデータもご紹介したいと思います。

AAMFT (The American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy)のHPによると、 MFTが提供するサービスは以下の通りです。

• メンタルおよび感情障害の診断および治療
• 個人（こども15%、大人47%）心理療法
• カップル、家族およびグループ心理療法（38%）
• 治療計画
• 結婚および人間関係に対するカウンセリング
• 婚前（プレマリタル）教育および結婚生活の充足
• ライフ・コーチング

一般的に診療する障害等は；

• 鬱および気分障害
• 小児期の行動障害および感情障害
• 夫婦間、人間関係の問題
• 行為障害および非行
• 薬物乱用
• アルコール依存症
• DV（家庭内暴力）
• 重篤な精神疾患
• 身体的疾患

MFTのクライアント数に関するデータは以下の通りです。

• 年間610万人がMFTを訪問（全人口の2.1%）
• 個人：　年間2,294,728人
• こども：　年間808,798人
• カップル：　年間752,370組
• 家族：　年間526,659世帯

全世帯の3.4%がMFTを訪問しています。
アメリカ国内外でMFTは23,000人以上いて、毎年彼らはたくさんの人々にそのサービスを提供しているわけです。次回はそのサービスがアメリカ国内でどう評価されているかご紹介します。

• Premarital education and marital enrichment
• Life coaching

Disorders that are commonly treated by MFT are;

• Depression and other Affective Disorders
• Childhood Behavioral and Emotional Disorders
• Marital and Relationship Problems
• Conduct Disorder and Delinquency
• Substance Abuse
• Alcoholism
• Domestic Violence
• Severe Mental Illness
• Physical Illness

The clients of MFT are;

• 6.1 Million People are seen Annually by Family Therapists (2.1% of Population)
• 2,294,728 Individuals Per Year
• 808,798 Children Per Year
• 752,370 Couples Per Year
• 526,659 Families Per Year

3.4% of Households have seen a MFT.
There are more than 23,000 Marriage and Family Therapists in and outside of the US, and they are providing services to so many people.
